This award-winning plan, with painted
exterior masonry has a master bedroom
on the first floor with three bedrooms and
a vaulted ceiling loft on the second floor.
The five-inch hand scraped flooring
compliments the millwork of seven-inch
baseboards, seven-inch crown, coffered ceilings, maple staircase with wrought iron
balusters, bead board and board-and-batten trim, the stained box beams, bookshelves
and stone fireplace add charm to the great
room. The hearth room stone fireplace
extends to the peak of the vaulted ceiling.
The kitchen features custom glazed
cabinetry, granite countertops, and Wolf
appliances with a microwave drawer.

JUDGES COMMENTS
This is truly exquisite design. The
designers did a wonderful job making
the space functional despite its large
size, and the overall effect is striking yet
soft at the same time. Unique materials
are used throughout, and the hood is a
work of art itself. All of the color
combinations are impressive – the bold
blues pop alongside the kitchens soft
colored floors in an interesting way.
